Samsung S25 Ultra Outperforms iPhone 16 Pro Max by 36% in Performance Tests!

Recent benchmark tests reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra surpasses Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro Max in graphics performance by 36%, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The results indicate that Samsung’s latest flagship is a top choice for mobile gaming.

Have the Samsung S25 Ultra performance tests been revealed?

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra was met with high expectations, particularly regarding the capabilities of its Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Samsung emphasized the chipset’s ability to enhance gaming performance but did not disclose specific figures. Now that benchmark results have surfaced, they confirm a significant performance lead over Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro Max.

One of the most notable tests, conducted on 3DMark Steel Nomad Light, focused on GPU performance in handling tessellation processes (excluding ray tracing). This benchmark is a reliable measure of a smartphone’s graphics capabilities.

According to a well-known analyst’s post on X (formerly Twitter), the Galaxy S25 Ultra scored 2,617 points, compared to 1,922 points for the iPhone 16 Pro Max. This marks a 36% performance advantage for Samsung’s latest flagship.

In terms of frame rates, the Galaxy S25 Ultra averaged 19.39 FPS, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max managed only 14.2 FPS in the same test. The results suggest that the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite variant, exclusive to Samsung, plays a key role in delivering superior gaming performance.

Interestingly, Xiaomi 15, which features the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite, scored 2,530 points and maintained an 18.74 FPS average, slightly behind Samsung’s performance. This indicates that the advanced cooling system in the S25 Ultra also contributes to its edge in gaming.

It’s worth noting that 3DMark Steel Nomad Light is not a highly demanding test, but the comparison highlights that the Galaxy S25 Ultra is shaping up to be the best gaming smartphone in its class.

For users looking for the best gaming experience on a smartphone, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is a strong contender. Its optimized Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and efficient cooling system give it an advantage over its competitors, including Apple’s latest offering.
